"amazing farm" is registered under PT. Momenta Agrikultura that was established on 28 August 1998. It is the trademark of aeroponics vegetables, which is the first commercial greenhouse that uses aeroponics technology in Indonesia.
The early idea of "amazing farm" arose because there is an excellent opportunity in Indonesia for agriculture farming. An agricultural based company has survived the monetary crisis in 1998 and has grown well since then. The potential has become essential after seeing overseas agriculture world which were very thrives and modern. Therefore, we were challenged to prove it that we are able to do the same business in Indonesia, considering that the climate in Indonesia is ideal for agriculture world.
The first experiment project of aeroponics was done in November 1998 with location at Lembang (West Java). After one year, the experiment came up with great result. The aeroponics farming commercially was established in November 1999. |
Aeroponics is a technology of growing vegetables with no substrate in greenhouses. Nutrients to such vegetables are supplied via precisely timed bathing of its suspended roots with measured amounts of temperaturecontrolled liquid nutrients in fine mist.
Our greenhouses are made both from iron and bamboo as well, while the tubes are made from fiberglass for easier maintenance and repair if necessary.
With the hanging roots in the air, the plant will easily takes in oxygen for its photosynthesis process. Compared to the growth by media of soil, aeroponics method of growth is faster.
Vegetables produced using this technology are free from pests, pesticides and are therefore significantly more fresh, healthy, succulent and delicious. |
